Regina police still searching for missing aboriginal girl

Regina police are still searching for a missing 12-year-old girl who was last seen on Oct. 4.

According to police, Shanley Larose, who is from Regina, was last seen on Davin Crescent at around 2:15 p.m. on Oct. 4.

Larose is described as aboriginal, approximately 5’8″, approximately 160 pounds with a heavy build. Police said she has long, straight red/brown hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing black stretch pants, a black hoodie and red runners with small flowers.

Police said they do not believe Larose has come to harm but say she is vulnerable because of her age and police want to locate her to ensure she is safe.
