A man was taken into police custody Thursday night after a report of a man with a gun in the Heritage neighbourhood.
At around 5 p.m., Regina police were called to the 1700 block of Quebec Street. Members of the Crisis Negotiators Team were also called to the scene.
The area was blocked off by police as officers worked to communicate with the man.
The man eventually made his way out of the location and surrendered to police. Investigators searched the location but did not find any firearms, police said in a media release Thursday night.
The area has been deemed safe by police.
