Twitter users continue to troll Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, using the hashtag #MuslimsReportStuff, after he insisted Muslims need to report terrorists when answering a debate question about Islamophobia.

During the second presidential debate Sunday, a Muslim audience member asked both candidates how they would address the growing concern of Islamophobia towards Muslim Americans if elected. During his response, Trump called Islamophobia “a shame,” before stating, “we could be very politically correct, but whether we like it or not, there is a problem.”
The Republican presidential candidate then went on to say that Muslims need to report whenever they see hatred in their community.

“We have to be sure that Muslims come in and report when they see something going on,” Trump said. “When they see hatred going on, they have to report it.”
Soon after Trump’s remark, Moustafa Bayoumi – professor and author of the book “This Muslim American Life” – sent out this tweet:
Bayoumi’s tweet went on to become the most retweeted tweet using the #Debate hashtag during Sunday night’s election, according to Twitter.
But, soon enough, other Muslims Twitter users got in on the action using the hashtag #MuslimsReportStuff to mock Trump’s answer.

Previously, Trump had proposed a freeze on foreign Muslims entering the U.S. Now, instead, he’s proposed a hold on immigration from areas of the world with a history of extremist violence against the U.S. and allies.
According to Twitter, Sunday’s presidential debate was the most tweeted ever, with more than 17 million tweets related to the forum sent. But, the social media platform said the question of Trump’s treatment of women dominated the online conversation.
