A man believed to be in his 80s is in life-threatening condition after being struck by a vehicle in Scarborough Sunday.
Emergency crews were called to Falmouth Avenue and Eglinton Avenue East, near Midland Avenue, around 11 a.m. after a man in a wheelchair was struck.
The man was transported to hospital with what were initially believed to be non-life-threatening injuries, but Toronto police released an update Sunday afternoon saying the man’s condition was life-threatening.
The vehicle involved in the collision remained at the scene.
Collision reconstruction unit officers are investigating.
