Manitoba Hydro customers in the Grand Beach area will lose power for three hours on Friday during a planned power outage.

The planned outage will start at 8 a.m. and last until approximately 11 a.m. The outage will include cottages between Beaconia and Belair, including Grand Marais.
The outage has been planned to allow Manitoba Hydro staff to upgrade “the electrical distribution system to improve reliability of service” according to a news release Wednesday.
