RCMP responded to another bomb threat Tuesday, this time at the Dalhousie University Agricultural Campus in Truro.

Police at the Truro detachment received a non-specific threat shortly after 4:30 p.m. and immediately notified campus security officials.

Students, staff and faculty were told to leave the campus for most of the night before getting the all clear from police shortly after 10 p.m. Nothing suspicious was found.

“The safety of our students, faculty and staff is paramount and we take that responsibility very seriously. Any kind of threat to their safety has to be taken seriously, too,” Dr. David Gray, dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and principal of the Dalhousie Agricultural Campus, said.
