Halton Regional Police are investigating an anonymous bomb threat sent to Joseph Brant Hospital Sunday night.
Police said they responded to the call at Lakeshore Road and North Shore Boulevard East around 9:45 p.m..
Hospital staff were notified immediately. Police said they did not find anything suspicious.
During the investigation, police said they learned of similar threats made to two Hamilton schools — McMaster University and Mohawk College.

This latest incident come just days after a series of bomb threats were made in Manitoba, P.E.I, Nova Scotia and Nunavut, which caused some schools to evacuate and shut down for the day.
Halton police are asking anyone with information to contact the Burlington Criminal Investigation Bureau or Crime Stoppers.
Burlington is located about 60 kilometres southwest of Toronto.
