TORONTO — A 55-year-old man is facing charges following an alleged sexual assault on a 10-year-old girl at a Toronto chess school.

Police say the alleged assault occurred last Saturday at the Philip MathChess Academy where the girl was taking chess classes.

They say the man was the girl’s teacher and the incident allegedly occurred during class hours.

Erwin Casareno of Toronto is charged with sexual assault, sexual interference, and invitation to sexual touching.

Investigators say they are concerned there may be other alleged victims and are asking anyone with information to contact police.
