The new bus line along 17th Avenue is leaving some trees without a home.
About 270 big trees from the centre of International Avenue need to be moved to make room for the bus rapid transit line.
A landscaping company has offered to dig up the trees, wrap them and replant them at a home for approximately $400.
There are large elms, green ash and Shubert cherry trees.
The priority is for the trees to stay in the greater Forest Lawn area, but if they are not claimed through the community they can be purchased by other Calgarians.
