A 23-year-old man is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a vehicle in east-end Toronto overnight.
The collision happened around 12:30 a.m. on Danforth Road just south of Lawrence Avenue.

Police say the male pedestrian was crossing mid-block when he was hit.
The 33-year-old driver of the vehicle was taken into custody and is being investigated for impaired driving.
