British Columbia is home to countless celebrities and notable figures.

Some may credit the province’s bustling film industry and music programs for breeding so many talented stars, but there is no doubt that celebrities are some of our most noted exports.

Some famous faces have played big roles in the communities they come from. Michael J. Fox has a theatre named after him in his old high school and Sarah McLachlan now runs a music school in Vancouver.
