Pro-ISIS graffiti discovered in Vancouver

Some graffiti pledging support to the so-called Islamic State group ISIS is raising concerns in downtown Vancouver, Global News’ sister station CKNW has learned.

The graffiti, painted in blue paint, reads “ISIS is here and let the killings start” and “ISIS — F*** all whites, I love and support ISIS. Boom Boom.”

It is located on a building at 1096 Granville St.

Leigh Jamieson, a construction worker next door, told CKNW he grabbed a paint scraper when he noticed the graffiti Friday morning.

But the Vancouver Police say the public should not be worried. The City of Vancouver will be removing the graffiti shortly.
