A 19-year-old woman is dead after the vehicle she was driving collided with a dump truck in Pickering late Tuesday afternoon.
Durham police say officers responded to the scene around 5 p.m. on Bayly Street between Sandy Beach and Liverpool roads.
The female driver of a gold Acura was pronounced dead and two 23-year-old passengers, a male and a female, sustained serious injuries.
Police say the 50-year-old male driver of the dump truck wasn’t injured.
The name of the victims have not been released.
There’s no word on what caused the crash and authorities are seeking witnesses to come forward.
