Kause for Paws fundraiser raises money for animal rescue in Edmonton

Some adorable animals come out for a fundraiser benefiting Zoe's Animal Rescue in Edmonton, July 24, 2016. Global News

Animal lovers were invited to take some vehicles for a joy ride Sunday and every ride came with a $20 donation to Zoe’s Animal Rescue.

The second annual Kause for Paws event was hosted by Kosh Ford Lincoln.

Guests were invited to test drive a variety of new cars, SUVs and even the all-new 2016 Mustang.

The dealership donated $20 every time a vehicle was test driven.

“It’s not about the vehicles,” Jeremy Koch said. “That’s our tie-in and that’s a neat thing to come, take a Mustang out for a bomb but, at the end of the day, it’s about the animal rescue and dog rescues.

“It’s about the the animals – raising awareness for that and raising money for them.”
