One man is in serious condition after being shot near Kipling Avenue and John Garland Boulevard in Rexdale Saturday.
According to paramedics, the shooting happened shortly before 4 p.m.
The victim, in his late 20s, has been taken to a Toronto trauma centre, paramedics said.
It is unknown how many times the individual was shot.
Police believe after the victim was shot he travelled a short distance from Kipling Avenue and Albion Road to Kipling Avenue and John Garland Boulevard, where he was found in his vehicle by emergency crews.
There is no suspect information available at this time.
Albion Road is closed between Finch Avenue West and Todd Brook Drive and Kipling Avenue is closed between Albion Road and Westhumber Boulevard while police investigate.
