WINNIPEG — A home in the North End has been destroyed after a late night fire ripped through the building just after 10 p.m. Sunday.
It happened at a vacant home in the 1200 block of Manitoba Avenue at McNichol Street.
Fire crews said the blaze tore through the two-storey building starting at the bottom before making its way to the attic.
Crews didn’t leave the scene until about 1:30 a.m. Monday. Police said the damage is estimated at $100,000.
There are reports this home also went up in flames last month and sent one person to hospital.
