PENTICTON–The National Research Council of Canada is celebrating 100 years with an open house at the Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory near Penticton on Saturday.
It’s an opportunity for the community to see what is happening at the observatory, and ask questions of experts in the fields of astronomy and astrophysics.
People can also tour the variety of radio telescopes on site, and learn about the information each is collecting for scientific research.
