TORONTO – A Toronto firefighter and his dog had to be rescued after falling nearly 100 feet from the Scarborough Bluffs Thursday afternoon.
Toronto Police say a call came in at 23 Crescentwood Road just after 2p.m. about a dog that had fallen over the edge of the bluffs.
Constable Tony Vella confirmed the man who attempted to rescue the dog also fell over himself.
Toronto Fire was called to the scene and both were successfully pulled from the Bluffs with no injuries.
Coincidentally, the rescue was conducted by the same fire house the man worked at.
