A Fort McKay man is facing several charges after a woman on the ATV he was driving died when it rolled over Tuesday night.
RCMP said officers were called to the crash on Fort McKay First Nation at 11:48 p.m. They found a 31-year-old woman in medical distress and tried to resuscitate her but she was pronounced dead when medical first responders arrived.
The 31-year-old man who was driving the ATV was arrested and charged with several offences including impaired driving causing death, criminal negligence causing death and dangerous driving causing death.
Jeremy Langdon has been released on bail but is scheduled to appear in a Fort McMurray courtroom on June 27.
RCMP did not say whether Langdon suffered any injuries. A 41-year-old woman who was also on the ATV was not injured.
