Officers arrived on scene and saw smoke filling the store and safely evacuated employees, customers and neighbouring businesses.

Vaughan firefighters were able to get the fire under control and extinguished the blaze shortly after.

Police said security cameras in the store captured the two males intentionally lighting the fire within the store, before walking out and heading southbound through the parking lot towards Rutherford Road.
