Gunshots fired in North Central neighbourhood; Regina police asking for public’s help

REGINA – Regina police are asking for the public’s help with information that could help with a firearms investigation.

At approximately 3:15 a.m. Saturday, police responded to reports of gunshots in the North Central neighbourhood in the 700 block of Garnet Street.

After arriving on scene, police learned that two groups of people were seen in the area. According to police, after the gunshots, some individuals ran northbound, while others ran to a vehicle parked on 2nd Avenue near Garnet Street.

There have been no reports of injuries resulting from the incident.
