WEST KELOWNA — A pedestrian was rushed to hospital after being struck by one of two vehicles involved in a crash in West Kelowna Monday.
Police say the incident happened shortly before 7 p.m. at the intersection of Dobbin Road and Old Okanagan Highway where a black mercedes and a blue Ford F-150 collided.
Police say one of the vehicles spun out of control and struck a pedestrian.
The victim, a 29 year-old West Kelowna man, sustained serious injuries.
The drivers of both vehicles remained at the scene.
“A collision re-constructionist was called to the scene and the investigation is ongoing which will include a full mechanical inspection of the Ford F-150,” says Cst. Jesse O’Donaghey.
Police are looking for witnesses to the crash.
