Police are asking residents to be extra vigilant after bear sightings were reported in the Dundee Park area of Oshawa.
Police say the Ministry of Natural Resources has been contacted and are currently working to locate the animals.
Authorities are advising people to avoid the park and not to walk their dogs until the area is clear.
