Two people were aboard the plane and one of them was taken to the hospital as a precaution, according to Melanie Flores, a supervising dispatcher with the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

An aerial shot from a KNBC-TV news helicopter shows the nose of the plane punching a hole through the roof. There was no sign of smoke or fire.

Gregor said the plane was heading to Brackett Field Airport in the nearby city of La Verne when it crashed.
