UPDATE: RCMP confirmed the 51-year-old woman pulled from the water was from Penticton.
PENTICTON — A fatality is being investigated behind the SS Sicamous in Penticton.
Penticton RCMP responded to a call of a non-responsive woman floating in shallow water in Okanagan Lake near the SS Sicamous Saturday morning.
Once crews got there, they confirmed the woman was dead. Police have determined the death is not suspicious.
Police tape was up and RCMP were on the scene for more than 12 hours.
