WINNIPEG — Police have confirmed a body was found at Sturgeon Creek Park near Portage Avenue.
At approximately 3:15 p.m. emergency personnel responded to a report of a body found in the creek. The identity of the body has not been confirmed and police are waiting for the results of an autopsy.
A large portion of the park has been taped off in the same area where search efforts for Cathy Curtis have been under way since she disappeared from Grace Hospital more than a week ago.
