Police are investigating after a man was found dead at the scene of a fire in Belleville, Ont., early Friday morning.
The Belleville Police Service said in a statement that officers responded to the area around 7 a.m. on Sills Road in Thurlow Township where multiple structures were on fire.
It was reported that a gunshot had been heard in the area and that police located one deceased person at the scene.

Traffic travelling on Highway 37 is being redirected at Harmony Road and Mudcat Road for the police investigation.
