Toronto police say they’ve arrested a man wanted on a murder charge in Poland.
They say Patryk Nowak is accused of being one of three men who allegedly stabbed someone to death after a soccer game.
He allegedly fled Poland before being identified as a suspect and legally came to Canada as a visitor in 2014.
A warrant was issued for his arrest in Poland after his arrival in Canada, and police say they received several tips in recent months.
They arrested Nowak just north of Toronto on Tuesday and are holding him in custody pending his extradition to Poland.
