WINNIPEG — Winnipeg police have arrested a 16-year-old boy in connection to two separate fires at a St. James construction site.
The suspect was taken in to custody Sunday evening after the two fires at a seniors housing project on Sinawik Bay. The canine unit helped locate the suspect a short distance away.
Winnipeg police said the fires were started inside the building, but they were contained, and did not cause a lot of damage.
Officers say a second suspect is still at large.
Police would not confirm whether or not the fires are related to the suspected arson fires in Wolseley on Saturday.
