The body of an 11-year-old girl from the RM of Woodlands was found early Wednesday morning.
The girl had been playing with friends near the spillway on a Hutterite colony, when she and her younger sister fell in. RCMP were called to the scene around 5 p.m. Tuesday.

The younger sister was pulled to safety by other children, but the 11-year-old girl did not resurface.
Emergency crews found her body at around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday.
RCMP said they are not releasing any further information at this time.
