CALGARY – A racehorse had to be put down Sunday afternoon after a crash at the Century Downs Racetrack in Balzac.
Officials said there was a crash in the eighth race that saw two drivers injured and taken to hospital.

One horse had to be euthanized while another horse was cut up in the crash, but will survive.
