COBOURG, Ont. – Police in Cobourg, Ont., say they’re investigating an act of vandalism as a hate crime.
They say a swastika was drawn on a cenotaph Saturday.

The Public Works Department had already washed the graffiti off by the time police got involved.
But while image has been removed, police say the investigation is kicking into high gear.
