SASKATOON – The City of Saskatoon is considering a rebate program to encourage people to buy low flow toilets. A report going to committee Monday says these intensives can lead to a 12 per cent water saving for an average household. If passed, the rebate would be considered as part of next years budget talks.
These rebate programs are popular in other cities such as Winnipeg, Calgary and Nanaimo.
What do you think? Should the city spend money on a low-flow toilet rebate program?
