Environment Canada has issued a special weather statement for the Greater Toronto Area due to wind gusts Monday afternoon.
Global News meteorologist Anthony Farnell predicts up to 80 km/h winds as colder air filters into the region.
The public is being warned to watch out for flying debris which may pose a risk to motorists and pedestrians.
