One person is dead after a stabbing on Sunday afternoon in Vancouver.
It happened around 4:30 p.m. at Main and Hastings Street, during a fight between several people.
“One man involved in the fight suffered a life-threatening stab wound. He was rushed to hospital by paramedics, where he died a short time later,” wrote Vancouver Police Department Cst. Randy Fincham in a statement.

The VPD’s homicide department is investigating, but no arrests have been made. The victim is known to police but his name will not be released until the next of kin is notified.
Traffic was delayed at the intersection due to the incident.
