PENTICTON, B.C. – The South Okanagan Events Centre was awash in blue Friday night as the BCHL Penticton Vees took game one of the Interior Division final series 5-1 against the West Kelowna Warriors.
Penticton native Scott Conway took the first two goals of the night for the Vees, who finished their season at the top of the division.
The Warriors Conner Sodergren got the West Kelowna team on the board in the second, but it was all the team could get on the night.
Easton Brodzinski, Tyson Jost and Owen Sillinger would help the Vees win game one.
Game two is in Penticton Saturday night at 6 p.m., game three in West Kelowna Monday.
