Fifteen-year old Maria Falcao flew all the way from Brazil to see Justin Bieber in Vancouver, only to find out she’d been duped.

When Global News first met Falcao Friday morning, the teen was in a crowd of “Beliebers” staking out the Rosewood Hotel Georgia in the hopes of getting a glimpse of the pop star. Clutching a Brazilian flag, Falcao said she had already seen Bieber in Brazil but made the trip to Vancouver “because he’s perfect, he’s amazing.”

But hours later, Falcao was in tears outside Rogers Arena, after learning her $600 ticket was fake.

“I bought this ticket on a website called Vivid Tickets. It’s stressful, I don’t know why this one is not working and I travel like 15 hours from Brazil to here to go to this concert because I am his fan since 2009 and in Brazil it’s very terrible to go to a concert so this was the best opportunity that I had and now my ticket’s fake. I couldn’t get in,” said a sobbing Falcao.

Fortunately humanity prevailed and some sympathetic fans stepped in to save the night. Falcao eventually got in to the Bieber concert after some girls helped her buy a ticket.
