WINNIPEG — The Manitoba Moose brought back defenceman Jake Baker and returned forward Ben Walker to the East Coast Hockey League on Friday.
Baker, 24, signed a professional tryout agreement with the Moose. It’s his second stint with the team this year after he recorded one assist in two games in Feb. Baker played 50 games for the ECHL’s Quad City Mallards where he registered two goals and eight assists.
Walker, 22, is headed back to the Tulsa Oilers. He appeared in four games with the Moose this season where he failed to record a point while garnering four penalty minutes.
The Moose start a short two game road trip on Friday with the first of back-to-back games against the Grand Rapids Griffins.
