REGINA – Regina Fire Services are investigating an early morning fire in the 1800 block of Montreal street, east of downtown.
The fire started on the main level of the single family-home, and had spread to the second floor.
According to deputy fire chief Layne Jackson, twenty firefighters were on scene battling the blaze. It was under control within 30 minutes.
There were no injuries reported, and no one was inside the house at the time.
Regina Fire Services said it is unknown if the house is currently vacant or occupied.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
