Package thieves beware, you never know what you’re going to get. At least one thief probably found out the hard way after stealing a package from the front step of Cory Hovanec.
The theft of packages delivered to front steps of houses had got too much for Hovanec of Spokane, WA who decided to take action.
“Our neighbourhood’s just sick of it,” he told KHQ News this week.
After a Valentine’s gift from his mother was stolen, Havonec decided to do something about it.
Havonec designed a special package to leave as bait and his video surveillance caught a thief running away with it.
“I rigged it so inside the package was soupy, messy dog poo. I rigged the package so they could only open it one way and when they do it’s going to rip open the bag and going to go everywhere,” Havonec said.
