GUELPH, Ont. – Police in Guelph, Ont., say a man who was shot at a hotel on Tuesday afternoon has died of his injuries.
Police were called to the Comfort Inn Hotel just after 4:30 p.m. and found hotel employee Aly Sunderani near the front entrance suffering from gunshot wounds.
The 45-year-old man was taken to Guelph General Hospital where he later died.
Police continue searching for a suspect or suspects and the owner of a small black SUV seen leaving the area shortly after the shooting.
Police add they believe this was a targeted shooting and do not feel there is any risk to the public.
