Halifax Regional Police have arrested two teenagers after two women were robbed at knife point on Sunday night in Dartmouth.
Around 9 p.m. two women in their early 20’s were walking on a path behind Parker Street in Dartmouth when two male teens approached them and asked for a cigarette.
When one of the women took out a cigarette, one of the males pulled a knife and demanded the pack of cigarettes and the backpacks the two women were carrying.
The two suspects fled the area. Police later located and arrested them a short distance away.
Both suspects, aged 15 and 16 are being held for a court appearance on Monday.
