Pair of moose relocated away from Saskatoon airport

Saskatoon police were called to a pair of moose in the R.C.A.F. Memorial Park around 2:00 p.m. Saturday.

Saskatchewan Environmental Resource Management (SERM) officers were called in to deal with the adolescent bulls.

Due to the moose pair posing a hazard to drivers on nearby roadways, traffic was diverted from the 2500-block of Avenue C North while SERM members delivered a projectile sedative.

Both animals were transported to a remote location and expected to make a full recover.
