CALGARY – High water levels in parts of southern and central Alberta are starting to cause a few headaches.
In Calgary, city officials are also warning people not to go boating on the Bow River and say its swollen waters are to blame for flooding on a major road, Heritage Drive.

The Elbow River is also flowing fast and carrying lots of debris because of the rain and snowmelt happening in the mountains.
The city has also issued a ban on recreational activities on the Glenmore Reservoir.
Meanwhile, the province has issued a flood warning for the Little Red Deer River, saying the water levels are rising quickly.
Flood watches have been put out for the Clearwater River and the Bow River around Canmore.
