CALGARY – Calgarians were treated to a spectacular sight on Tuesday morning: a simultaneous rising sun and setting moon. With the Rocky mountains topped in scattered clouds, the moon tucked behind the western scene while the sun rose over the prairies just before 8 a.m.

Expect to see more of both the moon and sun in the coming days as little cloud is in forecast. That may change come the weekend but above-seasonal temperatures will remain.
