An Olympic gold medal is up for auction if you have an extra $20,000 or so in your bank account.

Ed Belfour’s gold medal from the 2002 Winter Olympics is up for grabs.

The medal is one of 66 items from a section called the Ed Belfour Collection at Classic Auctions.

Belfour dressed for only one game in Salt Lake City and didn’t play in any.

At the time of this writing the bid was over $21,000 and is open for another six days. If you want to bid you can look at the lot here.

So far there is no explanation why these 66 items are up for auction. Belfour grew up in Carman, Manitoba.

He played for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Chicago Blackhawks, Dallas Stars, San Jose Sharks and Florida Panthers over his lengthy NHL career.
