2 injured after pick-up truck rolls into ravine in Toronto’s east-end

Two people were taken to hospital with minor injuries after the pick-up truck they were in rolled into a ravine in east-end Toronto early Monday morning.

Emergency crews responded to the scene around 2:30 a.m. in the area of Brimley Road and Citadel Drive.

Police say the truck rolled down a hill and into a ravine.

Toronto Fire rescued two people from the vehicle and both were transported to hospital with minor injuries.

There’s no immediate word on what caused the crash.
