WINNIPEG — This Valentine’s Day, a lot of people will be heading to the florist shop to buy a beautiful bouquet of flowers for their significant other.
Global’s Holly Alexandruk headed to Floral Fixx to find out what the Valentine’s Day trends are this year when it comes to flower arragenments.
She also spoke with the owner, Julie Pritchard, about the meaning behind each flower.
“A red rose means love, a white rose means innocence and purity, yellow is friendship, dark pink is enchantment, so you can send a message with your roses,” Pritchard explained.
And if you want to send a message of everlasting love Pritchard suggests combining two colours.
” If you put white and red together it means you are committed forever.”
