VERNON–A pedestrian was struck by a car in Vernon Wednesday afternoon.
RCMP say it happened just before 1:00 on the 3500 block of 27 Ave.

The extent of their injuries isn’t known.
Two people have been taken to Vernon Jubilee Hospital for treatment.
The incident closed off the street for several hours as police investigated.
