KELOWNA — Double check with your airline before heading to the Kelowna International Airport.
An inversion sitting over Kelowna has blanketed the city with heavy fog, forcing a number of delays and cancellations at the airport.
One Air Canada flight from Kelowna to Calgary has been cancelled due to heavy fog and there have been more than half-a-dozen departure delays.
Arrivals are also seeing a backlog, including Westjet flights coming from the coast.
The heavy fog is expected to lift this afternoon with above average temperatures continuing for the remainder of the week.
